Words are like fire...they can warm or they can burn!!
Woo hoo...set a goal..and I’m on my second day of follow through. You see that is quite the accomplishment for me because I am consistent with one thing...and that is being inconsistent. So far so good.
Today’s journey was about finding the right words for the Title of my Blog.
I was instructed to make the title be something that you feel passionate about and to remember that your title would lead others to your site through the search engine. Oh, the pressure in finding the right words. Don’t we find ourselves in that situation quite often?
Words are like fire...they can warm...or they can burn.
We have no idea how effective our words are in both doing good and causing harm. Our words should be like little gifts that we wrap and give to others. They should breathe life into the receiver. It is said that the tongue is the strongest muscle in the body. And I know for a fact that it has the ability to cut someone to the core.
There is a verse in the Bible that instructs us to put a watch guard over our mouth. A watch guard...watch and guard what comes out of your mouth and realize that you are the sole keeper of that gate.
If you have lived more than one day, you have experienced how hard life can be. Can we really have too many cheerleaders around us? Surround yourself with people who edify, encourage and esteem you. And be the one that breathes words of affirmation to those that are blessed to cross your path.
So, just what will be the title of my blog? What will inspire my readers? What will lift others up? What will encourage them to rise above the difficult circumstances of life in order to live abundantly?
And as I ask myself these questions, one thing comes to mind.
Eagles!! They are a majestic bird that when faced with a storm fixes their gaze upward, flies directly into the storm until they have risen above the turbulence and are soaring effortlessly.
And that, my friend, is my passion in life for you and me!
